07:07am- Picked up cylinders feom pour yesterday and checked temperature of concrete since it was not covered yesterday. Current temperature on site by truck is 29*F.  No work onsite today-

07:19am- Concrete crew is now onsite! Staking of the corners was done yesterday in the pit.  08:18am- Rebar tying is going great so far this morning. Crew planning pour for 14:00 this afternoon.  09:35am- Top mat now tied and up rights are sorted out.  11:14am- While I went to pick up testing equipment for concrete; uprights are now getting placed! 11:55am- Pump truck is now onsite and concrete crew stated pour would start at 13:00 now.  13:05pm-pour begins and I have pulled cylinder’s and done tests. Air: 4.7%, Slump: 3” and Temperature: 68*F. 4 cylinders are made. Placement of concrete is going good.  14:07pm- Pour is completed! 14:25pm- No more work to be done here today. I will be headed off site.

Concrete crew to start today, but no one onsite yet! 07:21am-  08:00am- Concrete contractor will not be here now this morning- maybe afternoon or first thing in the morning… 08:14am- More top soil going in at fire station today! I will now be headed offsite for the day.

07:35am- Grade for gravel is marked in lift station portion this morning so gravel can be placed.  08:13am- Gravel is now placed in pit area of lift station.  08:19am- Rebar has made it to the site this morning.  08:55am- Last of the rebar is now unloaded! Crew will not be doing anything else on site today. Concrete crew to possibly arrive tomorrow.

Top soil to be delivered to the area at the fire station today. I will check progress this afternoon.  12:27pm- Top soil is dropped. Cleanup on hillside occurs at fire station.  Project along route of forcemain is now covered by hydro seed.

No work onsite today.  Update!14:00pm- Grouting of manholes; A04 takes place first. 15:26pm- Grouting has now been stopped due to the bag grout they are using is not setting up and will not stay in place around pipes. They will attempt tomorrow with the hydraulic cement from the buckets.

07:09am- Working today due to snow that occurred this past Monday- Grade is checked first thing and we are at subgrade in pit! Rest of the rock to be removed and site should get prepped for ingress of materials! 07:44am- Dug out and grades are good! 09:20am- After airing up tire on haul truck, crew will load material from dig back yesterday and then start moving rock to roadway.  10:20am- Clay is now moved out of the way so rock can be applied.  11:23am- Rock is now making way to the top for roadway.  12.28pm- Loads of rock are getting spread now and “beat” into road bed.  13:29pm- Roadbed subgrade is now established to culvert area as hammerhead is getting soil removed from this area for rock.  Ramp into holding tank area is also established.  14:51pm- Rock now going in for hammerhead turn around.  15:27pm- This concludes the work here today. Final grading of  tank location to occur next week.

11:26am- Pit has been dug out and I’m told they have 1-2 more feet to remove. Excavator has been breaking all morning and has not left for anything.  12:10pm- Cleanup occurs at ARV area near STA 26+42.  14:03pm-  3/4 way complete with this layer of rock breaking now! 14:54pm- Bottom pit done with breaking now and top rock portion needs taken back a bit for upper wall forming.  16:17pm- Bucket is now on as clay is removed from top edge so bottom can be then cleaned out! 16:50pm- Operator picking up for the end of the day.  Should return tomorrow to continue digging broken rock out of pit area.
