In Forsyth today to do smoke test.  14:36pm- Rock is still being broke out today on the continuing section.  The section north of the roadway that was built by Big Cedar now has 240’ of line laid today. Rock has been breaking rock along this section over the last few days.  I will be headed back offsite this afternoon to take smoke testing equipment back to Springfield storage. 

07:19am- Dipping of water to remove it from ditch as rock breaking continues this morning! 09:23am- The 45 has now been set at STA 9+27. More rock breaking to continue! 15:11pm- Took an opportunity to visit my other job today on HWY 165. Rock breaking has occurred mostly today.  17:12pm- 60’ of pipe total is laid today and the setting of a 45. 

07:56am- Ditch work continues today! Only excavator working here currently. Rest of crew is at Arena- 09:30am- Crew is getting ready to take a shot for ensuring that we do not create a false high spot as we come from behind pond area! 10:02am- Gravel going in ditch now behind pond to get pipe laid on up to excavator.  12.09am- 60’ of pipe now placed in ditch with 45* bend set and wrapped! More gravel to follow! 13:03pm- Thrust block on 45 needs more concrete and was relayed to the contractor! Gravel will continue to be placed over pipe.  13:44pm- Additional concrete has now been placed at 45* bend! Also, approximately 80’ of pipe has now been placed and bedded.  16:46pm- Crew has laid 140’ of pipe now and rock is being dug from trench where hammer has broken out too! This will conclude posts for today!

Crew has decided to work for a bit on getting the 45* fitting installed and lay pipe to end of ditch! 10:19am- 100’ of pipe now placed as more gravel is placed over pipe. This is all the crew will do today! Backfill will follow.

11:23am- Only rock breaking occurring today! No pipe to be laid. Rest of crew is up at Arena doing things! Im standing at a 45*bend where ditch is heading now to behind pond area.  Im now headed back offsite! Have a remarkable weekend!

06:57am- Crew digging out broken rock from yesterday. More rock to be broke! 07:15am- Going to be a slow day; I need to run to Springfield to drop off cylinders from the HWY165 job. Be back soon! 10:11am- Just got word that the crew is calling it a day due to rain. Rock breaking will continue when lightening stops!

06:49am- AWWOB is pumped down this morning! Crew has a slow start this morning as the hammer is getting attention again this morning! 08:47am- Just got done with showing TCRSD crew the AWWOB and discussed layout and such of all main installed all the way back to the fire station and Tower road.  FlatCreek crew back breaking rock now! 09:38am- Digging out, but more breaking rock to come! 11:16am- 1 joint of pipe placed so far today! Possibly one more before noon at which they will call it a day due to concert! No contractor is allowed to work past Noon today… 11:52am- Crew calls it a day with 40’ of pipe laid for today! 2 joints!

07:28am- Well, Crew is going to work today to lay pipe on forcemain, but first, a quick look at the AWWOB! 07:53am- Cage for pipe crossing power line easement is getting extended the rest of the way this morning. Concrete to arrive around noon today.  Pipe to be laid to get past 45*bends so thrust blocks can be poured at the same time as the encasement.  09:07am- Concrete arrives early and encasement continues.  45* bends also get concrete.  11:46am- Hammer is getting repairs at this moment! 12:08pm- Back to rock breaking! 15:20pm- 90’ of pipe now laid as more rock will need broke out.  16:26pm- Rock breaking will round out the day here!

07:01am- Crew pumping water from manhole at AWWOB for temporary run of pipe to the overflow side of the basin this morning.  07:56am- Pipe is to basin now! Dirt to be placed over it to hold in place.  Rock breaking occurring on force main this morning.  13:55pm- FlatCreek finally begins preparing to lay pipe this afternoon across the new emergency exit road from the Arena.  14:15pm- Digging begins! 15:10pm- Transit is getting set up for shooting creek depth vs. ditch depth.  15:34pm- 1st joint in place.  15:58pm- Pipe is across roadway. Gravel to continue.  16:45pm- oversized rock is going in atop nedded pipe now i. The roadway! 17:15pm- Cleanup to occur before they leave tonight to get roadway back open.
