4669_86 Sewer

Crew did not work yesterday the 30th, due to ground being too wet from rains over the weekend. Today a plug valve will be set very near STA 28+00 to begin new section of line to the east of Jones Spur.  07:42am- Crew will now just continue joining pipe from this point due to the plug valves not being onsite and are back ordered.  The line is full of water , so this could be interesting… 07:50am- Bleed off begins! 09:11am- 1st joint heading east now placed.  10:38am- Excavator issues again. 3rd joint now placed with area left open for slope anchor.  11:52am- 4th joint in.  13:08pm- 5th joint.  14:31pm- 7 joints placed with Mr. Escobar stopping by. 14:56pm- A look from the bottom of the hill back up. 16:01pm- Domed lateral field found from old drain possibly from pond…? 17:13pm- Tree roots are getting cut back.  17:19pm- Last joint of pipe for today going in. 200’ today roughly. 

11:34am- Line is now on test for 2 hrs.  -Crew has moved rest of the cut up trees along route to the east from yesterday and hauled out of site.  13:34pm- Line passes hydrostatic test! Crew will bleed off pressure and head out for the weekend. No more work to be done today. 

07:27am- Excavator continues to backfill this morning as cleanup occurs all over job site today. If all goes well, line testing may occur.  08:31am- Thrust block at 11.25* fitting is underway near STA 3+56.  09:34am- Excavator cutting road path in from STA 28+00 headed east, so that pipe can be taken into site 10:28am- Trees are starting to come down.  11:13am- Last bit of brush from tree leaving now.  11:28am- Awaiting Blue Green to approve this tree removal.  13:16pm- Spoil cleanup along Thunder Ridge still occurring.  14:11pm- Pipe is getting strung out down the fairway now.  14:59pm- Written approval from BlueGreen is now on file for tree removals.  16:13pm- Hydrostatic testing to begin! 16:35pm- Well, never even got up to pressure. Only about 50 psi.  17:07pm- Cap moved and pipe also pulled from gasket joint 19’ back. 17:39pm- Crew will return in the morning and remove last joint, re-dig ditch and install cap again with better thrust blo...

08:58am- Crew has laid 60’ of pipe this morning while I was picking up my new iPhone from the Springfield Office.  10:33am- I spoke with Engineer and I’m have contractor to continue with the current pipe radius to skip turn at STA 0+52 and stop at 0+45 eliminating the fitting.  11:48am- 120’ of pipe now laid in place.  13:31pm- Last joint of pipe for this end getting ready to go in. Pipe will be at STA 0+45 roughly.  14:06pm- Cap is now on end of pipe!  14:48pm- Lune is now getting filled from ARV location 3+56ish.  14:57pm- Line taped at STA 26+42 for other ARV! 15:20pm- Putting cap on end of pipe at Jones Spur at STA 28+00.  16:55pm- Water still going in at STA 3+56.  17:16pm- Backfill of area still continues! Filling the line will continue tonight. I will be headed offsite now.
