Contractor on site at 9:15am Contractor is installing floor drain in preparation for setting the flow meter vault. The bolts used for the assembly are not the correct size. 10:00am - The contractor has tried 4.5” and 5” bolts  but will need a different size to get around the flange. Existing bolt were cut using an angle grinder to try to produce a usable bolt. 10:30am - Contractor used backhoe to support pipe assembly to fit bolts in using an alternative method. 11:20am - Contractor is leaving the site for the day. The plug valve screws are now properly installed and the 90-degree flanges still need two bolts each. These will probably need to be 4.25” bolts.
