Hwy 86 Sewer Ph 1


Crew will be working today to keep clearing going and bring in new material from different site from Arena area that they will be digging out today. 
07:39am- Equipment now onsite and removal of top layer is underway. 

08:53am- More gravel is placed this morning while we await the dry fill to be hauled in. 

10:02am- Loads are now coming in!

Alot of rock in this fill so its looking up for good backfill material!

10:22am- Filling against the nluff to get dirt laid out easier. 

10:53am- Tower Rd work will start again today. MH A2 will get readjusted along with a diamond shaped concrete square around it. Grading work and overall cleanup too occur. 

11:24am- Another look at East side of basin. 

11:48am- Sheep’s foot making passes. 

13:35pm- More compaction occurring!

Dozing in lifts on north end side. 

14:06pm- Small compactor making passes on north side. 

16:43pm- Fill has stopped on East and North sides until next week after another cylinder break occurs. 

 South side is getting the attention now!

17:09pm- Crew has called it a day. Working tomorrow on south side only to half way point.

07:19am- Another picture of floor in the AWWOB after it has dried out some.  07:24am- Rock breaking occurring this morning as we near the power line easement.  08:29am- 1st joint for today getting gravel! 08:55am- 2nd joint going in! 10:07am- Another joint goes in and the encasement will statt from this point.  12:00pm- 100’ now placed as cage begins around pipe within easement of power lines.  13:18pm- Cage is coming along as is the rock breaking! 13:41pm- Another joint placed and cage will continue! 16:14pm- Crew now has rebar tied and ready now for next joint now! 16:55pm- Crew has laid 160’ of pipe and built a cage for 60’ of it in the power line easement. This will conclude the day here.

Contractor started at 9:45am assembling newly acquired spools started to set valve assembly in vault. GRE employee did not have access to blogger, but took many pictures. Alignment of pipe so they can install a link seal Contractor continue with lining up valves in valve vault. Installing last link seal Contractor is done for the day

Contractor is excavating soil to install the air release/vacuum valve vault Flow meter valve installed Finish connecting for main lines 2:34pm air valve vault set 2:47pm flow meter tight, stands adjusted and torqued 3:30pm contractor tried installing stainless steel, intermediate rail, supports, and they were the wrong size, so remove them back out and started filling up ditch where force main comes out of wet well  5:30pm contractor filled in soil around volts won’t be back until Monday, depending on weather
