Hwy 86 Sewer Ph 1


07:16am- Crew here will be making tie in at MH A04 today. 

07:50am- Rock breaking continues here at Arena LS today. 

09:20am- Force main now tied to MH A04. 

09:48am- Now ready for thrust blocking. 

10:15am- Saw cutting control joints now starting on driveway at Fire Dept. 

10:40am- Thrust block now poured on fittings at tie in. 

11:01am- Saw cuts nearly completed. 

11:38am- Riser, ring and lid are on top of MH A04 now. Backfill begins. 

11:50am- Changing out operator on breaking rock for this afternoon. Downtime about 1/2 hour so far. 


-12:15pm- Excavator back down to begin rock breaking again. 

13:23pm- Rock border being put back along Flower bed and drive. 

14:08pm- Rock work and backfill coming along nicely!

14:19pm- Excavator back uptop. All rock broke for now until it can be hauled out. No more work here today to be done. 

15:08pm- Cutting clay from what was existing gravel before we dug here. 



15:40pm- Gravel going down now!

16:28pm- MH A02 riser and tapper rings are now placed. Vacuum testing to occur later in the week here and at A04. 

16:58pm- Tower Rd signage now back up. This concludes the day.

07:19am- Another picture of floor in the AWWOB after it has dried out some.  07:24am- Rock breaking occurring this morning as we near the power line easement.  08:29am- 1st joint for today getting gravel! 08:55am- 2nd joint going in! 10:07am- Another joint goes in and the encasement will statt from this point.  12:00pm- 100’ now placed as cage begins around pipe within easement of power lines.  13:18pm- Cage is coming along as is the rock breaking! 13:41pm- Another joint placed and cage will continue! 16:14pm- Crew now has rebar tied and ready now for next joint now! 16:55pm- Crew has laid 160’ of pipe and built a cage for 60’ of it in the power line easement. This will conclude the day here.

Contractor started at 9:45am assembling newly acquired spools started to set valve assembly in vault. GRE employee did not have access to blogger, but took many pictures. Alignment of pipe so they can install a link seal Contractor continue with lining up valves in valve vault. Installing last link seal Contractor is done for the day

Contractor is excavating soil to install the air release/vacuum valve vault Flow meter valve installed Finish connecting for main lines 2:34pm air valve vault set 2:47pm flow meter tight, stands adjusted and torqued 3:30pm contractor tried installing stainless steel, intermediate rail, supports, and they were the wrong size, so remove them back out and started filling up ditch where force main comes out of wet well  5:30pm contractor filled in soil around volts won’t be back until Monday, depending on weather
